This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello Sandra. I am editing an anthology of short stoies chosen from the best ones to appear in the small literary magazine 'Gold Dust', since its inception five years ago. The title of the anthology will be 'Solid Gold'. I would very much like to use your 'Golden Statue' as the cover illustration. I would not be able to offer any payment but would of course give you full credit in the book. It will be published on Lulu.com probably in late August and will cost about £10 (~ 13). Any proceeds will be put back into the magazine prize fund, as we occasionally run story or poem competitions with cash prizes. If you are agreeable I would request permission to enlarge the surrounding area of the picture into some kind of blank field in order to accommodate the cover lettering. Thanks! David.
I will agree to give you permission to use my golden statue art for this one issue. Although I would prefer to put a few changes to the art before you publish it. In 2007 when I made the art I didn't know how to color lines. And if you don't do that you get white pixels around every line. If you could give me a e-mail address I could sent you a "fixed" art. What size would be best for you?
Thank you for the prompt reply and for your permission to use your work. My personal e-mail address is:

and as soon as I hear from you I will send you a mock-up that we have created of the proposed cover. That will give you a better idea of what changes the piece might need if any. We have extended the background field as I mentioned in my note in order to accommodate the lettering on the cover. We are quite happy with the version on this site – the extra white pixels don't bother us – but if you would prefer to make changes that's fine.
Since the final cover size will be only 6" X 9" the resolution of the one on this site (200 dpi) would be adequate, but generally speaking the larger the file we have to work with the better.
If you would like to have a look at the magazine our home page is at:
The project we have in mind for your artwork isn't another issue but a one-off project, an anthology of the best short fiction that has appeared in the magazine so far, together with some previously uunpublished pieces. The anthology title will be 'Solid Gold'. It should be on sale about the end of August.
